Injuries Don't Help Hornets
The Hornet's guard Eric Gordon will be out for the next two - three weeks because of a bruised knee. Gordon who had already missed four games because of the same knee injury before returning in Wednesday night's loss to the 76er's experienced swelling after the 76er's game and will be out for the next few weeks. This isn't great news for a Hornets team that has been struggling to close out games and who are on a four game losing streak. Coach Monty Williams hopes to help his young team break that streak by simplifying things and by helping them mesh together. Williams says that he is building the team the way that he wants to and that hopefully in the future this young team will jell and be successful. That would be a great thing to all of the Hornets fans who are anxious to put the Chris Paul trade behind them and to move on with a bigger and better Hornets team. The future of the Hornets looks bright but getting there looks to be a long arduous journey.
